We have to regretfully announce that the registration for both Tadika Al-Fatih and Taska Tunas Al-Fatih for 2010 session is closed. We have had to reject enquiries and interests to register from so many who called, sms-ed, dropped by or emailed (and it hurts to do so, every time…:-( )
Thank you, thank you, thank you for your keen interests… but we are really sorry, we have to limit the intake to the number of students / children that we can cope with.
Thank you to all our current and former Al-Fatih parents / families who have spreaded the good word about us to others, encouraging more to join our future Al-Fatih families insya-Allah… also those who have promised to help support us to improve as we grow, insya-Allah…

We will be having an Al-Fatih Get-together Programme for parents, insya-Allah on 1st January 2010 (9-11 am) at the Tadika. It is only open to parents of registered students only. We are sorry that we cannot entertain new registration on that day.
So, if you are an Al-Fatih parent for 2010, do come , insya-Allah..

Alhamdulillah, we’ve had tremendous support from many of our former and current Al-Fatih parents who have spreaded good words about Al-Fatih , that we are insya-Allah, expanding further next year.
( JazakaLlahu khairan katheera.. may Allah SWT repay your kind help to spread Islamic education, insyaa-Allah.. )
With that in mind, we are insya-Allah hiring …

The basic requirements are :
1)Good Muslimah (sorry, it is for females only!)

Ihtifal oh Ihtifal !

It’s that time of the year again for the “grand finale” to the school year. We’ve had our final exams last week, and teachers are busy filling in assessment reports for our Parents-Teachers Session next Saturday (31/10/09). But the uppermost in our minds right now, is of course the Ihtifal & Graduation Day !
To say that we are anxious and stressed out, is at best, putting it mildly ! Every year we go through this ( 4th year, now !), but every time, we still do feel the nervousness. We are all in the midst of rigorous practice with all the kids for the presentation, while at the same time preparing the props and costumes.
It’s not so much as worrying whether we can present a certain image etc to parents, but more to how we can nurture the hidden talents and kindle the inner creativity and showmanship of al-fatih kids. We believe that performing in front of an audience helps develop confidence and braveness. Important traits in well-balanced Muslims, insya-Allah.
Add to that, the desire to create a fun and wonderful time for the kids at the same time…. something that is not easy to achieve, trust me !!
Anyways, yes, our Ihtifal & Graduation Day will insya-Allah be on 21st Nov 2009 (Sat). For Al-Fatih families, former, current and about-to-be, you are all cordially invited.

How time flies ! We are running out of time, it is almost to D-DAY = the 1st Day of school !
Even after so many years, I am always apprehensive with the 1st day – so many unknowns in the horizon. I doubt whether any of the teachers will be having any sleep the night before either !
For 2009, we decided to start official school term a day later than the other schools. So, instead of beginning on 5th January 2009 (Monday), we are insya-Allah, beginning on 6th January 2009 (Tuesday). This is to allow parents with other children who are also starting school to be able to attend to their children on the first day of school (yup, including me !). Many of our parents also heaved a sigh of relief with our decision – as a twist to the Mobil advertisement : " We know, because we’re parents too ! " 
Registrations for next year’s students are swift and progressing well. So well, Alhamdulillah, that we have had to get a new premises for the extra classes to be opened. We are also hiring extra teachers. However, parents should be unduly worried that we will be changing into a profit-oriented entity, since we also have a limited intake on the number of students per class, with 6-year-olds streamed into 3 classes according to their reading abilities. As of now, there are only a few places left for each class / age group. I really don’t know what to do once we reach the limit , which seems to be quite soon !
With the registrations, we are always at the receiving end of anxious parents who tell us of their hopes and dreams for their children. We too have our hopes and dreams for these children. Let us work together towards the same goals, and may Allah SWT help us in creating future Muslims who will attain success in this World and in the Hereafter, insya-Allah.
Announcing Taska Al-Fatih

This is to announce that we are insya-Allah opening a daycare centre, Taska Al-Fatih, for 1 year-olds and above. At the moment, we are unable to provide daycare for babies below 12 months yet. The taska will insya-Allah be ready in this December.
At the Taska, we will offer Playschool for 2 – 3 year olds. Insya-Allah we will be using the ALIMKids Playgroup module as well as introduction to Bacalah Anakku phonetics method, and the best thing, will also allow our toddlers to join in the Al-Fatih kids on Fridays for special subjects & Little Scientists experiments.
Schedule for the playschool are as follows :
Tuesdays 2.30 – 4 pm
Thursdays 2.30 – 4 pm
Fridays 8.00 – 11.30 am (with the rest of Al-Fatih Kids)
Playschool monthly fees are :

All the teachers are rather exhausted from a full two-days course on the Khalifah Method in Ampang. It was exhausting indeed, but Alhamdulillah, worth it. Insya-Allah, we plan to implement this in Al-Fatih next year, do make du’a so that Allah will help us.
I have been asked repeatedly to provide a Questions and Answers section for common questions on Al-Fatih. Before I am able to do a formal page, here I will paste parts of an email from an interested parent. There’s some Q & A, which I hope will be able to help, for a start, insya-Allah.

Salam Teacher Iman,I’m interested to know further on this kindies and appreciate if u could reply on the following items:-1) When is the 2009 session start?
2) How much is the registration fee? Monthly fees?
3) School session start and end time?
4) Any school van provided to sent the kids home? How much if it is only one way? Fyi, we stay at BSP too at Jln 3/L. Might need the school van to sent my son home but no problem to sent him to school by myself.
5) Do you have day care and until what time?
6) What is the diferences (in terms of charges) if I sent my son for the school session only & school session + day care?Preschool Fees are RM150 per month, daycare fees are RM130 per month. It is the same regardless.

Alhamdulillah, last Saturday (29th Nov 2008), Teacher Yan, Teacher Mar and I went for an intensive course of Bacalah Anakku teaching method which lasted the whole day in International Youth Centre (Pusat Belia Antarabangsa), Cheras. We have sent other previous teachers before, but I thought this would be a good time to reward Teacher Yan and Teacher Mar with a training directly from the authors of this phenomenal phonetics method.

Insya-Allah tomorrow and Thursday (3-4th Nov 2008), all teachers will be going to a Communications wih Children Course in Ampang. Please make du’a that we will gain benefits from the course.
